Hi, I'm Sana. For over 15 years, I've helped brides look and feel their best during their wedding week. My real job is to give you a sense of calm, so you can relax and enjoy every single moment.
I started SKS Salon to offer a different kind of experience. It's a personal mission for me, because I didn't love my own wedding day look. A wedding week is a beautiful whirlwind of events, family, and joy. My team and I are here to create a peaceful space for you on the morning of each celebration.
We know how to set a heavy dupatta so it feels secure all day. We know how to create a look that lasts through hours of happy tears and dancing. And we know how to get your mother, your sisters, and your entire bridal party ready on time, with no stress.
That calm confidence comes from experience. I train my small, trusted team myself, so you always get the best of SKS Salon. We come to you, wherever you're getting ready, across Northern Virginia, DC and Maryland, and beyond.

My formal cosmetology training means I understand the art and the science, for every skin type and hair texture.
I am a licensed cosmetologist in the Commonwealth of Virginia, and SKS Salon is registered in the state. You are in professional hands from start to finish.

At your preview in my Northern Virginia studio, we take all the time we need. We will talk through your vision, try different styles, and see how they look in photos. We will refine every detail until you look in the mirror and feel completely happy. You'll leave with no doubts, just excitement.
When your wedding week arrives, everything is planned. We create a schedule that works for you and your family, making sure everyone is ready with time to spare. Your only job is to sit back, breathe, and be celebrated.
