You have a date and a venue, but a thousand other details are swirling in your head. My job is to make this one part of your wedding feel easy. To give you a calm, happy morning where you can simply relax and enjoy yourself.

I'm Sana, a licensed cosmetologist with over 15 years of experience in bridal beauty. I've spent my career helping brides across Northern Virginia, DC, and Maryland look and feel their best. This is how we’ll plan your journey together, from our first conversation to your final touch up.

Our first conversation

It all starts with a simple chat. When you first get in touch, I’ll ask three little questions to understand your wedding week.

Your date. The number of events, like your Sangeet, Wedding, and Reception. And how many people in your family and bridal party will need hair or makeup.

These details help me see the shape of your week. From there, we can create a custom quote just for you.

Finding your look at the preview

The preview is my favorite part. It's our time to play and design your look together in my Northern Virginia studio. You can read more about what happens in a bridal makeup preview.

This is more than just a practice run. It’s where we make sure you will look and feel like yourself on your wedding day. Bring your saved photos. They tell me the style you love. Together, we'll turn that inspiration into a look that is truly yours.

We'll talk about your outfits, your jewelry, and how to comfortably set your dupatta. I take notes on everything, from the exact shades we use to the number of pins in your hair. We photograph the final look in different kinds of light, so we know it’s perfect in any room.² This becomes our blueprint for a flawless, stress free wedding day.

I love talking about makeup, but when it comes to skin health, I always listen to the experts. If you have a question about a skin condition, a reaction you’ve had, or a treatment you're considering, the best person to ask is your dermatologist. They can help you find the answers you need.¹ For my part, I can help you with a timeline to prepare your skin for the wedding.

Our plan for a calm morning

A relaxed wedding morning does not happen by accident. It is planned.

I create your schedule by working backwards from your ceremony time. This way, we build in plenty of breathing room.

You are always last in the chair, so your look is the freshest when you walk down the aisle. We factor in time for your photographer, travel to the venue, and those little unexpected moments that are part of every wedding. The result is a morning that feels peaceful, not rushed.

Your entire wedding week, covered

Many of the weddings I do are a beautiful series of events, from the Mehndi and Sangeet to the Wedding and Reception.

We will plan the looks for your entire wedding week as one story. The lighter, brighter feel for a daytime Mehndi. The elegant look for your Wedding ceremony. The touch of glamour for your Reception. Because we plan it all together, each look feels connected, and you do not have to explain your vision over and over again.

And of course, we come to you. Whether you're getting ready at home, a hotel, or your venue, my team and I bring the salon experience right to your door.

My commitment to you and your family

The most important thing in my kit is not a brand of lipstick. It is cleanliness.

As a licensed cosmetologist in Virginia, I follow strict state guidelines for hygiene.^{7, 5} This means brushes and tools are thoroughly disinfected between every single person. Creams and liquids are placed on a clean palette, never touched directly. And single use items are just that, used once and then discarded.

This is not just a rule. It is how I care for you, your mother, and your bridesmaids. It ensures everyone is safe and can enjoy the morning without a worry.⁶

Caring for your bridal party

Your wedding is also a huge day for your family. Making sure they feel beautiful and ready on time is a key part of a calm morning.

I work with a small, trusted team that I have trained myself. While they take wonderful care of your bridesmaids and family members, my focus is entirely on you.

We create a schedule that gives each person their own time, so no one feels rushed. All we need is for everyone to be ready for their turn in the chair.

Ready for the night

My work is not done when your makeup is finished. I want you to feel confident until the very last dance.

Before my team and I leave, I will give a small touch up kit to your sister or maid of honor. It has everything you will need for the rest of the evening. I will give her a quick lesson on how to use it, just in case. A little powder here, a fresh coat of lipstick there. It is my way of staying with you all night.
